“Zack (and Justin): How difficult is it to replace a cold sensor? The heat pump [at 4779 Genoa Rd] seems to run okay in cool mode. Further investigation has lead me to believe the heat sensor 4S1, either a thermocouple or thermistor, has drifted and now causes the microprocessor 1U1 to believe the water exit temperature is below the freeze point [intended to be 35 degree F], at a higher actual temperature – thus causing the unit to go into manual lockout mode and initiate the Alarm signal at terminal 1TB2-9 which in this system causes an external control relay to shut off the run signal shortening the cycle. This is per design, and a fix would be to replace the sensor or do nothing at this time. Thanks for responding reasonably for the service call.”

He was very polite and answered all of our questions without making us feel like idiots, because I don't know the first thing about furnace repair. He diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired it quickly also. He told us all about the spring and fall service plan and answered all my questions about that too. He saved us money on this repair and suggested we wait till the fall service call to repair a part on the humidifier. We aren't using the humidifier now so the repair could wait. He also provided me with an estimate of the fall service call so we wouldn't be surprised. SUPER SATISFIED with our service !!!!”

“The temp was climbing in our office today (94 outside) and we realized the compressor was not running. We placed a call to Kellermeier at 12:45pm. By 1:40pm Zach was onsite, and by 2:15 he had our A/C up and running again!

“Great experience. I had a semi-emergency as my sump pump switch failed. So no accumulated water in the basement, but it could develop into that in short order. I was lucky and noticed that my unit was not shutting off. He arrived in less than an hour and was able to fix my system to last me through the night. Then re-scheduled another appointment to allow him to return the next morning (Not on OT) to replace the 2-pump system. Unfortunately 1 of the pumps was burnt up and you don't just replace 1 pump. I'd recommend Zach and Kellermeier to others in a second.”
